Aims/priorities: Funding is intended to help meet the two goals of the Foundation:
- Equip less advantaged children and young people with improved skills, knowledge, and confidence to take action on sustainability issues and contribute to building sustainable communities.
- Ensure less advantaged children and young people live in a sustainable community with increased access to green spaces and opportunities.
Who can apply? Legally constituted not-for-profit groups in the UK may apply.
Grant amount: There is a total funding pot of around £1 million. It is expected that up to three projects will be funded for up to three years, with lower levels of funding for early-stage ideas and up to £350,000 for more established projects.
Application process: There is a two-stage application process:
- Stage one: Online application to be completed by 11.59pm on 22 July 2022, with decisions expected by 10 August 2022.
- Stage two: Shortlisted applicants will meet with OVO Foundation (in-person or via video call) between 22 and 26 August 2022, with final decisions expected by 3 October 2022.
