Aims/Priorities: This fund aims to support a wide variety of projects and activities that improve outcomes for people with heart disease around Greater Manchester and reduce its impact on lives beyond current NHS provision.
Who can apply? Groups delivering projects and activities to support people with heart disease around Greater Manchester can apply, such as:
- NHS primary, secondary, and tertiary care organisations.
- Community groups, community interest companies (CICs), registered charities, and other not-for-profit organisations.
Community groups, CICs, charities, and other not-for-profit groups must be able to describe their level of expertise in heart disease and/or their existing relationship with NHS services that have this expertise.
The following projects will likely be given greater priority:
- Projects that cost up to £10,000 (although projects with an upper limit of £25,000 may be considered).
- Projects that are likely to demonstrate rapid short-term benefit (within 12 months).
- Projects that can demonstrate longevity of impact beyond 12 months.
