Naturewatch Foundation - Pet Rescue Grant

Aims/priorities: The funding is intended to help frontline animal welfare services provide a second chance to pets who have been exploited for profit.

Who can apply? Applications will be considered from registered non-profit organisations in the UK, including:

  • UK registered charities registered with the Charity Commission, Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) and/or the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland.
  • Community Interest Companies (CICs) registered with the Companies House.

Priority will be given to projects by smaller organisations that may not have the time or resources to apply to larger funding bodies.

Grant amount: In 2025, a main grant of £10,000 is available to UK-registered charities and Community Interest Companies (CICs) with an annual income of up to £5 million.

Additionally, for the first time, a mini-grant of £1,000 is available to unincorporated non-profits, including unregistered charities and community groups.

Application process: The 2025 application window will open on 24 January 2025 and close on 21 February 2025.

The guidelines and application form can be found on the Naturewatch Foundation website.

Grant recipients are usually notified and announced in April each year.

Deadline: Friday 21 February 2025.
