Aims/priorities: The aim of the grant is to support grassroot groups in the UK who provide services, such as memory cafes, to help those with dementia. The grant is offered as part of Dementia Action Week 2023 to increase understanding and awareness, and to encourage people to 'Act on Dementia'.
Who can apply? Small, grassroot community organisations and clubs may apply.
To be eligible, applicants must be independent, with their own constitution and bank account.
Priority will be given to groups with an annual income of less than £25,000.
Grant amount: Up to £1,000 are available.
Application process: Applications must be submitted online and any supporting documents or images can be included.
