Masonic Charitable Foundation Hospice Grants – Poverty and Deprivation

Aims/priorities: On behalf of Freemasonry in England and Wales, the Masonic Charitable Foundation is working in partnership with Hospice UK to deliver a programme of local funding that will have a significant and lasting impact on communities across England and Wales.

This grants programme seeks to ensure that marginalised individuals and those experiencing poverty have equitable access quality care at the end of life.

Who can apply? Applications will be considered from full member adult hospices and children's hospices that are based in England, Wales, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.

Hospices awarded a grant in the April 2022 Masonic Charitable Foundation/Hospice UK re-imagining day hospice services programme are not eligible to apply in this round.

Grant amount: Total available funding in this grant round is £300,000. It is expected that between eight and ten grants will be awarded to local hospices in this round.

Grants of up to £35,000 are available to support projects running over a period of 18 months. This allows for up to three months setup phase and 12 months project delivery – with a further three months to cover any unforeseen delays mid project.

Application process: The online application form and criteria are available on the Hospice UK website.

Deadline: Tuesday 28 February 2023 5pm.
