Youth Elements CIC is looking for 3 enthusiastic, reliable and passionate Sessional Support Youth Workers to join our growing youth work team. This opportunity is suitable for people who ideally hold a Level 2 Youth Work qualification, as well as people who are newer to youth work but have relevant experience, the right values and a genuine interest in developing a career working with young people. You may have gained relevant experience through volunteering, mentoring, sports, education, community work, arts, coaching or another role supporting young people. Working alongside our Youth Lead and wider team, you will help us deliver safe, engaging and inclusive youth provision for young people aged 11-24.
Purpose of the Role
The Sessional Support Youth Worker will work alongside and under the direction of the Youth Lead to provide high quality youth work that supports young people's personal, social and emotional development. You will help create a safe and welcoming environment where young people feel listened to, respected, valued and encouraged to participate.

• Support the delivery of engaging youth sessions for young people aged 11-24.
• Build positive, professional and trusted relationships with young people.
• Help create safe, welcoming, inclusive and youth-led environments.
• Encourage young people to participate in activities and have a meaningful voice in shaping the provision.

• Help plan and facilitate activities, workshops, discussions and informal learning opportunities.
• Encourage positive relationships, respect and appropriate behaviour within sessions.
• Engage young people from a diverse range of backgrounds, experiences and needs.
• Recognise when a young person may need additional support and raise concerns where appropriate.
• Support trips, community activities, events, outreach and holiday provision as required.
• Assist with session set-up and pack-down.
• Maintain accurate attendance and relevant session records.
• Contribute to monitoring, evaluation, feedback and evidence of impact.
• Participate in team briefings, debriefs, supervision, training and development.
• Work positively with the Youth Lead, other youth workers, volunteers and partner organisations.
• Follow Youth Elements policies, procedures and professional standards at all times.

- Salary: Sessional work, £15.00–£18.00 per hour, dependent on qualifications and relevant youth work experience (up to approximately £3,497 per annum, subject to hours worked).

- Working Hours Per Week: Flexible sessional hours, primarily evenings, supporting approximately 2 youth sessions per week.
