The Capacity Building Lead will help build the capacity of Stockport’s Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector, and to support them to be sustainable, financially viable, and to thrive.
Working closely with community groups, faith organisations, small-to-medium VCFSEs and our partners across Stockport, the postholder will focus on creating stronger, more connected communities, helping grassroots organisations to develop ideas, sustain services, and access the right support, training, and funding.
This role will be central to ensuring insight and feedback gathered from the sector directly influences Sector 3’s operational delivery. The postholder will be willing to adapt their approach to different audiences, and be proactive in developing solutions based on diverse needs.
