Aims/priorities: This fund aims to support community groups in delivering sustainable walking, wheeling, and cycling activities to people in their local area.
Successful applicants will receive a package of support including:
- Grant funding of up to £5,000.
- Training and development opportunities.
- Opportunities to participate in networking and knowledge sharing.
- General support and advice.
- Signposting to other opportunities.
Who can apply? The following can apply:
- Voluntary and community organisations.
- Registered charities.
- Social enterprises.
- Groups of organisations (if led by a voluntary and community organisation or social enterprise).
- Community interest companies (CICs).
- Education providers, e.g., primary and secondary schools and further and higher education.
- NHS Healthcare providers, such as NHS Trusts or a GP Practice.
Groups must have a registered community or charity bank account.
Grant amount: Up to £5,000 are available.
Application process: Applications will be open in three phases:
- Phase 1: 27 January 2025 to 17 March 2025.
- Phase 2: Open from September to October 2025 (TBC).
- Phase 3: Open from March to April 2026 (TBC).

- 5 February (18:00 – 18:45).
- 27 February (12:00 – 12:45).
