Electricity Northwest – Partnership Fund

Aims/priorities: This fund aims to create partnerships with charities and organisations across the Northwest that will help and support vulnerable Electricity Northwest customers across the region in the event of a power cut and address the following priorities: 

  • Keeping customers safe in a power cut by registering all eligible households to the Extra Care register. 
  • Under the needs of communities through a network of experienced partners. 
  • Building trust around Electricity Northwest’s Extra Care register and services. 
  • Strengthening services through partner-led insights, data sharing, and advancements. 

Who can apply? Northwest-based charities, organisations, and businesses can apply.

Priority will be given to organisations based in Greater Manchester.

Grant amount: Typically, grants of around £15,000 are awarded. 

Application process: Guidance notes and an application form are available from the Electricity Northwest website

Completed applications should be submitted by email.

The fund may close sooner than expected if all funding is allocated.
