Community Group One-off Support Grant - Rochdale Borough

Aims/priorities:

Rochdale Borough Council values the work carried out by community groups who work hard, often relying solely on volunteers, to support the ever increasing and complex demands in some of our communities. In recognising this valuable work, the Council understands that rising costs are creating challenging times for some groups.

The Council has identified a total fund of £40,000 for community groups to apply for grants. The grant is a one-off payment in the current financial year 2023-24.

Projects must:

  • Benefit local communities; and
  • Evidence how the grant would add value to what is already available; or
  • Show how a grant would enable further additional support to local groups

Who can apply:

Community Groups and Voluntary Sector Organisations who are constituted, have a bank account and are not already in receipt of other Council funding.

Grant amount:

There is no limit to the amount you can apply for, however whilst there is no cap on the application value, please consider the total funding available across all community groups is £40,000.
