#WednesdaysWeekly - The role of the IDVA and types of domestic abuse

Oldham Council, in partnership with Action Together are hosting a series of Wednesdays Weekly sessions focussing on domestic abuse. Kate Clark, IDVA (Independent Domestic Violence Advisor) for Oldham Council will host a series of sessions focussing on a range of domestic abuse related topics including - the role of the IDVA, how to respond to a disclosure, domestic abuse legislation and key messages and safety planning for victims of domestic abuse. These sessions are aimed at anyone working in the community who may encounter someone who is experiencing domestic abuse. As well as people already working with victims of domestic abuse or anyone looking to find out more.
