Cash For Kids - Merseyside, North West, and North Wales Radio City

Aims/priorities: Funding is aimed at local charities with projects that benefit disadvantaged children who are under the age of 18 years living in the Merseyside, North West and North Wales area (or whose parents live in the area). Cash for Kids exists for the sole purpose of helping children up to and including the age of 18 years. Consideration will be given to projects aiming to help children from the following categories:

  • Children suffering mental, physical or sensory disabilities.
  • Children suffering behavioural or psychological disorders.
  • Children living in poverty or situations of deprivation.
  • Children suffering distress, abuse or neglect.

Favourable consideration will be given to those projects which directly benefit a large number of children and/or positively increase the quality of their lives.

Who can apply? Registered charities that help children living in the Merseyside, North West and North Wales area (or whose parents live in the area) are eligible to apply.

Grant amount: Awards are usually between £1,000 to £3,000 but larger requests may be considered.

Application process: Applications must be submitted online. Bids must be accompanied a signed supporting letter from a professional who knows the child (eg doctor, healthvisitor, occupational therapist, teacher).
