Aims/priorities: The fund aims to help grassroots sports clubs and community organisations in England, Scotland or Wales reduce energy costs, lower carbon emissions and become more sustainable. It does this by offering matched funding, energy advice and crowdfunding support to projects that make energy‑saving improvements to club facilities or premises.
Who can apply? Applications are accepted from registered not‑for‑profit organisations, such as charities, Community Interest Companies (CICs), Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) and other registered community groups or Community Benefit Societies that are delivering energy projects at their sports facilities or community sites.
Grant amount: Funding of up to £40,000 is available.
