Aims/priorities: The fund aims to improve outcomes for children, young people and families living in poverty in England, delivering measurable improvements such as better school attainment, improved youth employment and reduced youth offending.
It will support projects that address the structural and root causes of child poverty, reducing both the immediate and long-term impacts of poverty on children's life chances and outcomes.
Who can apply? Applicants may apply as a single organisation, with or without delivery partners, or as a joint bid (for example, a consortium, joint venture, unincorporated association or partnership).
Eligible applicants include:
- Large charities.
- Social enterprises or impact organisations.
- Consortia or joint bids.
- Organisations with proven experience of delivering Social Outcomes Partnerships (SOPs).
Grant amount: The successful grant recipient(s) for Round 1 will receive £39.8 million in funding between summer 2026 and March 2036 to support Social Outcomes Partnership (SOP) provision in priority areas across England.
