Aims/priorities:
The Yapp Charitable Trust is offering grants of up to £3,000 per year to small registered charities supporting some of the most disadvantaged and marginalised people in our communities. They prioritise work supporting:
- Elderly people
- Children & young people
- Mental health, disability & learning difficulties
- People overcoming addiction, abuse, offending or social disadvantage
- Educational disadvantage
The fund supports ongoing core costs and regular service delivery rather than new projects, making it particularly valuable for grassroots organisations needing help with sustainability and day-to-day operations.
Who can apply:
- Registered charities only
- Usually under £50k annual expenditure
- Established for at least 3 years
The Trust particularly values organisations working in areas of deprivation, supporting unpopular or overlooked causes, and making effective use of volunteers.
Amount: Grant up to £3,000 are available
Deadline: Rolling programme - applications accepted year-round and grants can run for up to 3 years.
