The Lock 50 Project is a community volunteer group based at Lock 50, Oldham Road, Rochdale.

  • Start Date: 22nd October 2026
  • End Date: 22nd October 2029
  • Volunteer: Weekly
  • Availability: Thursday AM
  • Tasks: The group look after a specific part of the lock system ( lock 50) and do a wonderful volunteer role making sure the lock is working free of rubbish , painted and the surrounds are looked after with gardening and planting.

    They meet on a Thursday from 10am -12pm
  • Training: Training will be given on an individual basis depending on experience
  • Interests: Community, Conservation
  • Activities: DIY/odd jobs, Gardening, Lending a helping hand, Outdoors
  • DBS Check: No
