About Us
At FavourCare Digital Help CIC, we believe that everyone deserves to feel confident and connected in a digital world. We work alongside local communities to provide practical digital skills, friendly guidance and accessible support, helping people navigate everyday technology with ease.
As we continue to grow and reach more people across Greater Manchester, we are looking for a Strategic Mentor and Critical Friend to help us think bigger, plan smarter and take FavourCare to the next level.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone with genuine experience in the voluntary, community or social enterprise sector who understands the realities of growing a small organisation. You should have:
A strong understanding of the funding landscape for CICs and community organisations, including experience with grant applications or funding strategy. Experience in organisational growth, strategy or business development within the third sector. Creative thinking and the ability to generate practical, grounded ideas for expansion and programme development. A warm, encouraging and honest approach. You will be kind with your feedback but not afraid to challenge us when it matters. A passion for community work and a genuine interest in what FavourCare is building. You do not need a tech background.
How We Will Work Together
Catch-ups: We meet regularly throughout the month, totalling around 10 to 15 hours, split across sessions online, over the phone or in person over a cup of tea, depending on what suits you best. Between sessions, there may be occasional documents or proposals to review at your own pace.
Trust and Privacy: Everything we discuss stays confidential. We value openness and we want this to be a genuinely honest working relationship.
Getting Started: We will begin with a friendly welcome conversation to get to know you, share where we are and explore together how you can best support us.
