About FavourCare
FavourCare Digital Help CIC is a growing Community Interest Company based in Oldham. We provide one-to-one digital inclusion support to migrants, refugees, asylum seekers and older adults across Greater Manchester, delivering sessions in English, French, Arabic, Urdu, Tigrinya and Pidgin. We are expanding fast and we need someone creative to help tell our story.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Social Media Content Manager to join our volunteer team. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your skills to make a real difference while gaining hands-on experience managing social media for a purpose-driven organisation.
You will be responsible for creating and scheduling engaging content across our social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram, helping us grow our online presence and connect with the communities we serve.
What we are looking for
Someone with a passion for social media and community storytelling. Basic experience with platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools is helpful but not essential. Good written communication skills in English. Someone who is reliable, self-motivated and happy to work independently. An interest in digital inclusion, community work or social enterprise is a bonus.
Commitment
We ask for around 3 to 5 hours per week, which can be done flexibly and largely remotely. There may be occasional visits to our sessions to capture content in person.
