The Community Nature Champion Volunteer will support families to connect with nature, improve wellbeing, and build stronger community relationships through participation in the Nature Together: Community Connection Walks project.

- Volunteer: Weekly, Fortnightly
- Availability: Saturday AM
- Tasks: - Welcome and support families attending nature walks and events.
- Help participants engage in activities such as nature exploration, tree and plant identification, wildlife spotting, and nature journaling.
- Encourage participation from children of all ages, parents, carers, and grandparents.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment.
- Assist with registration, refreshments, and setting up or packing away equipment.
- Support environmental activities such as litter picks and caring for local green spaces.
- Help at community events, including the the end of project Celebration.
- Provide feedback to project staff about participant experiences and suggestions. - Training: - Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults
