- Tasks: By becoming a volunteer, you'll be helping towards our goal of building a future where nobody dies of bowel cancer. You'll receive regular updates in our volunteer newsletter, ongoing support from our volunteering team as well as the opportunity to:
make a direct difference to people affected by bowel cancer and share your own experiences
connect with other volunteers at events and our virtual and in-person meet ups throughout the year
build your confidence and personal development through our e-learning modules
We have a range of opportunities available from campaigning, awareness raising to fundraising and one-off events. We even have roles that are flexible/remote and you can do in your own time. - Training: Training is provided for all volunteers, including:
safeguarding and GDPR training
role-specific training
ongoing support from your role manager
bowel cancer awareness training where relevant - Interests: Health and wellbeing
- Suitability: 18 and over
- Activities: Administration, Campaigning, Providing advice, Virtual Volunteering
- DBS Check: Yes
