The purpose of Q Gardens is to provide a green space for the local residents of Kirkholt and the wider community to use for the promotion of wellbeing, fitness and enjoyment, whilst gardening in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way.
They actively promote the exchange of ideas and skills between their volunteers and use our combined experiences to educate all their participants in gardening skills, the natural environment and promote friendship and enjoyment of the outdoor space.
Key information
- Start Date: 23rd March 2026
- End Date: 21st December 2027
- Volunteer: Weekly
- Availability: Wednesday AM, Wednesday PM, Sunday AM, Sunday PM
- Tasks: General gardening, digging, weeding, planting, flower beds, possible use of electricals (strimmer or mower) training given. General maintenance, keeping the garden clean and tidy.

Whether you can spend time taking part in activities or would like a quiet space to go and spend time (that’s fine) – also if you think that you have experience in if you think you may be interested in more formal committee type roles that could work too
Q Gardens are open Wednesdays and Sundays from 10am - 1pm. Lovely friendly peaceful atmosphere.
