This year’s Tameside Toy Appeal has been another success due to the work from our amazing volunteers, our Tameside communities, Children’s Centres, local businesses and of course the generous donations of toys and gifts from Tameside residents. Watch the Toy Appeal Video here.
Special thanks to our partners, Tameside Radio and Reporter and Tameside Council’s Children Centres’ who work tirelessly to make Tameside Toy Appeal as success each year.
This year in light of such difficult and challenging times, the Appeal enabled 509 Tameside families in need to give 1180 children a toy on Christmas Day. A massive 4552 toys/gifts were dropped off by volunteers and our staff to local Children’s Centres and the just giving page raised another £2868.
The Action Together team is once again honoured to be a part of such an uplifting demonstration of community spirit by the amazing Tameside Community.
