It is always an amazing feeling when we get to present member organisations with our Quality in Action Award, and this week was no exception when we headed over to Littleborough and the talented team at Teen Lives Matter.
Our Rochdale Community Development Team have supported Teen Lives Matter through their accreditation journey, and this endorsement recognises the amazing service TLM provide and their diligence, hard work, commitment to safeguarding, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
Teen Lives Matter are a Community Interest Company, dedicated to supporting young people who feel lost, isolated, or as though they’re not enough, with the delivery of a range of confidence-boosting wellbeing and empowerment programmes. These programmes are designed to inspire and educate,
helping teens build confidence, resilience, and the essential skills they need for life.

Early intervention is at the heart of what they do, and they are passionate about equipping young people with the tools to believe in themselves, and helping them overcome the mental barriers that are holding them back. Their mission is to empower teens with the knowledge, confidence, and support they need to lead healthy, fulfilling lives, and to step into a brighter, more hopeful future.
Hear from Melanie Kenyon-Drameh and Lynze Bamford in more detail about Teen Lives Matter, and the wide range of support programmes they offer for young people.
"We are truly honoured to have received the Quality in Action Award from Action Together, and want to express our heartfelt gratitude for their continued support throughout our journey.
TLM opened its doors in 2023 with one mission: to help the teenagers of Rochdale find their happy. We aim to support young people in reducing mental health concerns such as anxiety and low mood, building confidence and resilience, and feeling empowered to step into adulthood with a healthier mindset.
The guidance and encouragement from Action Together has helped us navigate challenges, stay focused on our mission, and make a positive impact in our community.
We are so grateful for their belief in our vision and for standing with us every step of the way.
Thank you Action Together."
