Aims/priorities: The Women Thrive Fund is provided by Rosa and Smallwood Trust working in partnership. The funding comes from the Government's Tampon Tax Fund.

This fund has been created by Rosa and Smallwood Trust in response to the ‘devastating’ impact that the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic has had on women and girls across the UK.

The funding is intended to enable women’s and girls’ organisations to respond to the crisis and support women and girls to overcome the barriers they face due to the pandemic.

Aims/priorities: The funding is for established work meeting one or both of this programme’s aims:

Aims/priorities: The Idea Fund is a micro fund for individuals (or small groups or organisations) who have a novel technical idea which they want to try out. Proposals for projects will be welcomed that:

• Are based on a novel technical idea.
• Would deliver a social or environmental benefit.
• Are intriguing, inventive and have an element of fun.

This is a doing fund. It only covers the costs of making and/or testing the idea itself. The fund does not cover payment for people's time or marketing/promotion costs.

Aims/priorities:Satellite clubs provide opportunities for 14-19 year olds to take part regularly in physical activity and sport through the creation of enjoyable, convenient club opportunities that are designed around their needs and provide a positive experience of being active. 

Aims/priorities: Grants are available for local community groups, charities, voluntary groups and social enterprises in the UK for projects that have a positive impact on communities, people, or the environment. The Grants for Good Fund has been launched to extend the impact of the Matthew Good Foundation, and allow small charities, community projects and social enterprises to apply for funding directly. Every three months, £10,000 will be divided between five shortlisted projects that have a positive impact on communities, people, or the environment.

Aims/priorities: Organisations across Greater Manchester are being encouraged to come together to submit bids for local funding after the region secured £500,000 government funding for green social prescribing to improve the region’s mental health.

Aims/priorities: Grants are intended for organisations who are empowering young people in the UK to fulfil their potential by providing safe social spaces, mentoring or work, and social skills. The Foundation aims to fund work that helps young people create firm foundations, by addressing their needs through early intervention.

The funding is intended for projects and activities which:

• Music-making and music-making related activities for children and young people (aged 0-25) facing barriers,

and/or

• Workforce and organisational development to promote a relevant, diverse, and inclusive music offer for all children and young people.

Projects should be co-designed by children/young people, and support one or more of Youth Music’s priority areas.  These are:

Aims/priorities: ABCT supports charities working where human dignity is imperilled and where there are opportunities for human dignity to be affirmed.

To be eligible, projects should address at least one of the following categories:

• Migrants, refugees and asylum seekers.
• Criminal justice and penal reform.
• Human rights, particularly access to justice.

There is particular interest in charities that seek to address the needs of the most marginalised and neglected groups in society.

Aims/priorities: Ashton Parish Church Charity is an amalgamation of a series of small charities which had a variety of different beneficiaries. The charity now has a purpose to support the needs of those in poverty in the area of the Parish of the Good Shepherd, Ashton-under-Lyne. The trustees have decided to make a sum of £18,000 available for grants in 2021 to those working directly with those in immediate need.
