Aims/priorities: The aim of the grant is to support grassroot groups in the UK who provide services, such as memory cafes, to help those with dementia. The grant is offered as part of Dementia Action Week 2023 to increase understanding and awareness, and to encourage people to 'Act on Dementia'.
Who can apply? Small, grassroot community organisations and clubs may apply.
To be eligible, applicants must be independent, with their own constitution and bank account.

Aims/priorities: The funding is intended for new and existing projects that address the issues of mental health of young people in the 15 to 24 age range. Projects should specifically address the needs of the most vulnerable communities including young people displaced due to conflicts, racial and ethnic minorities, refugees and asylum seekers, those with disabilities and certain health conditions, and those who are socio-economically disadvantaged.

Aims/priorities: Bike libraries are local hubs that will allow people to borrow a bicycle, like a book, to try out. They aim to boost access to cycles and give people a chance to give cycling a go.
Bike libraries are generally based in the heart of a community, within easy reach by foot, in places such as community centres, schools, village halls or local business premises.
Bike libraries support similar schemes that are available in Greater Manchester, helping create local hubs where bikes are donated, fixed up and used.
Aims/priorities: The 2023 grants programme has been expanded in response to demand from the Parkinson’s community, activity providers and Parkinson’s professional.
The funding is intended to enable more opportunities for people living with Parkinson’s to access physical activities and enjoy being active, which is key in helping to manage symptoms, maintain health and lift their mood.
