Aims/priorities: The funding aims to support projects which specifically address the needs set out in the Trust's latest funding window and fall under the broad objective of promoting and implementing sustainable development.

The theme for the current round is sustainable and active travel.

Who can apply? Applications are accepted from a range of UK based organisations, including charities, social enterprises, voluntary organisations, small grassroots community groups and businesses.

VocTech Activate

Aims/priorities: The VocTech Activate grant fund supports the development of new ideas that use digital tools and approaches to transform how people in the UK gain skills for work.

The scheme is a ‘test bed’ where the first spark of an idea which could solve a vocational learning problem can be scoped and tested in a supportive environment. Projects that are at a relatively early stage will be funded. The aim is to help prototype ideas and work out the next steps necessary on their route to long-term success.

Grow Wild Community Programme

Aims/priorities: The funding is for groups across the UK to transform urban spaces for the benefit of people and wildlife through planting and championing UK native plants or fungi.

The funding is for projects that focus on UK native plants, transform an urban space, enhance the biodiversity of the space with planting and growing as a core activity.

Projects should be led by groups who care about the environment and will use sustainable materials and practices and have the potential to reach at least 300 people.
