EAF 5: Violence Against Women and Girls - Open Competition

Aims/priorities: The funding is for proposals that align with priorities outlined in the HM Government VAWG Strategy and action plan, with a preference for proposals focused on:

  • Online harms
  • Early intervention/children and young people
  • Prevention
  • Tackling sexual violence.

There is particular interest in funding the following types of proposals:

CPF Trust

Aims/priorities: The funding is for UK-registered charities with projects that address the funder's current priorities:

  • The arts.
  • Education.
  • Support for carers and older people.
  • Early intervention projects for disadvantaged children and young people.
  • Animal welfare.
  • Health and disability.

Who can apply? Registered charities based and working in the UK may apply for funding.

Applications should include details of the initiative and potential benefits.

Creating Places for Everyone Test and Learn Programme

Aims/priorities: The Creating Places for Everyone Test and Learn Programme is a new pilot for eight Locality members working in different contexts to develop their work on racial justice. 

Each organisation selected will receive an unrestricted £8,000 grant and five days of tailored support from Locality to review current practices and identify barriers, agree on priorities, and take practical next steps. 

WCIT Charity

Aims/priorities: This fund aims to support IT projects and activities that relate to one or more of the following priority areas:

  • Education.
  • Inclusion.
  • Tech for charities.
  • Public understanding of Technology. 

Who can apply? Registered charities and organisatoins with a formal not-for-profit constitution, such as community interest companies (CICs), can apply. 

Applicants must provide:

Henry Smith Foundation – Early Years Parenting Fund

Aims/priorities: This Fund aims to improve the development of children most at risk of poor Early Childhood Development (ECD) outcomes, by investing in effective parenting support.

The first round is focused on communities where outcome gaps are largest.

Organisations should be working closely with and understand parents with children aged newborn to five years from:

Muslim War Memorial Fund

Aims/priorities: The funding is for a single organisation or group of organisations that are willing to join together to design and deliver a national memorial to mark the significant contribution of Muslims to the First and Second World War.

The memorial is intended to stand as a permanent tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of the hundreds of thousands of Muslim soldiers who served alongside Britain and its allies – travelling from across the Middle East, North Africa, and the Indian subcontinent – to help secure victory and promote lasting peace.
