Aims/priorities: The foundation has launched this second open call with an increased focus on the cultures of trust, respect and collaboration that enable and embed career development opportunities for care workers.
Six grants will be awarded to partnership proposals focused on enabling and embedding cultures of trust, respect and collaboration in adult social care in order to create sustainable professional development opportunities for care workers.
Who can apply? Expressions of Interest (EOIs) are accepted from voluntary, statutory, and for-profit organisations in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The funders are looking for organisations and partnerships with the capability and networks required to test these solutions and share the learning.
Statutory organisations need to consider how a grant will enable transformation over and above delivering statutory obligations.
For-profit organisations will need to show that charitable funding is necessary to enable transformative change.
Grant amount: Six grants of £60,000 to £150,000 are available in this funding round.
Proposals will be delivered within a 24-month time frame.
Application process: Expression of interest form is available on the Rayne Foundation website.
The following information webinars are being held to provide an overview of the Better Careers for Better Care funding and criteria and will offer time for questions about the funding or the application process. Interested applicants can register to attend these on the foundation's website.
