We are delighted to share the news that our member organisation, Raise Tuition CIC, have successfully achieved Action Together's Quality in Action Award after demonstrating excellence in every category of the award.
The Quality in Action Award is a recognised framework for voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations working across Oldham, Rochdale and Tameside to prove their impact. The award is an independent, local seal of approval which publicly demonstrates commitment to safeguarding, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
Raise Tuition take pride in providing small group tuition in English and Maths, that is tailored to suit individual children. They provide a personalised service with a nurturing approach. Their aim is to support those children who need a programme of rapid acceleration, whilst supporting children who are able to excel in their achievements.
Emma and Alison from Raise Tuition CIC had support from their Development Worker, Adele, and said, "Thank you so much Adele. You've been invaluable with helping us to achieve this award. To say we are thrilled is an understatement. We've learnt so much during this process and shall display our award with pride. What a pleasure it was to work with you. You've been kind, generous with your time and a massive support to us. It really has felt like we have been working with a friend. We can't wait to see you again, to be presented with our award."
How can my organisation apply for the Quality in Action Award?
You'll work alongside one of our dedicated Development Officers to meet criteria that ensures your organisation has the right things in place, with practical advice, resources and support to help you develop the policies and procedures that are right for you. The QiAA is free and open to groups of any size. By achieving the award you'll be able to demonstrate to local commissioners, funders, beneficiaries and other stakeholders that you are delivering quality activities and services.
