Join the Independent Mental Health Network (IMHN) Peer Support Forum for peer support facilitators – Come together to discuss challenges and best practice.
A safe space to discuss any thoughts and experiences of running peer support, and for peer support facilitators to develop their own community.
We will discuss the challenges faced, as well as hopes and vision for peer support.
Examples could include:
- How do I attract attendees?
- What makes peer support successful?
- What are the different ways to provide peer support?
- How do I prevent burn out among facilitators?
The forum takes place via Zoom, and is open to all those working in Greater Manchester (Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, Wigan & Leigh).
