Oldham Athletic are currently recruiting for their next cohort for the Never Alone project, with the first session of the project pencilled in for Tuesday 8th February 2022.
They are working with academics from the University of Reading and University of Leeds and the project focuses on providing activity for those either currently retired or approaching retirement. Never Alone will provide a social environment using the power of football to engage across six sessions. The group will combine watching and discussing historical Oldham Athletic football matches along with utilising local parks to stay physically active through scheduled group walks.
They have a recruitment event coming up soon on Monday 29th November at Team Karting. To attend this event, attendees need to be registered before Friday 26th November. Please note, they only have space's for 10 people on this day, however, they may have another opportunity to visit Team Karting in the near future if there is enough interest.
