Aims/priorities: The Northern European Mobility Opportunity (NEMO) is administered by the Nordic Culture Fund in partnership with the arts funding agencies of Ireland, England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The programme supports artistic exchange and collaboration among practitioners across the Nordic region, the UK and Ireland. It is specifically aimed at individual arts practitioners in the early stages of their careers. The programme aims to foster international collaboration, strengthen artistic networks across the region and increase international mobility for young creatives.
Who can apply: Applications can be made by artists in the UK and Ireland to engage with counterparts in the Nordic Countries (Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and the Åland Islands). In 2026, the programme is only open to applicants who did not receive support under NEMO in 2025.
Grant amount: In 2026, the programme expects to make around 33 awards worth up to £8,500 (DKK 75,000, approximately €10,000) each.
