A new social group for people who identify as Autistic or questioning if they may be Autistic is being launched in August. The group will be meeting at the Together Centre, Birch Lane, Dukinfield, SK16 5AU from Monday 2 August 2pm - 4pm.

The organisers Tameside Together state:

"We understand that receiving an Autism diagnosis at any stage of life can be overwhelming and some people say life-changing. Many people have questions and nobody to ask. Many people have life experiences and face barriers that only another Autistic person would understand. Come and have a tea, coffee, or cold drink (free) with us or none if you prefer. You can have a chat or just be in our company - the choice is yours. We do know that meeting other people like us is a benefit for many and can also be life-changing in a great way!! Many people say 'I have found my tribe' after meeting other Autistic people. Which we hope will apply to you too!"
