Thanks to funding from Rochdale Borough Council Public Health team, Action Together offers micro grants of up to £1,000 to help the VCFSE sector to support individuals, families and communities in the Rochdale Borough.

| Heady Hill | 1000 | We aim to run a community garden project for 16 weeks, in which 20 local residents can come along to lend a hand in the community centre’s garden, involving planting and growing vegetables, flowers and plants etc. We will also involve people in tidying and maintaining the outdoor community space, to make it suitable to showcase other projects and to run activities and events for the community in the summer. |
| HB Youth | 1195.55 | We are currently rolling out a wellbeing project during which youth and community groups will get access to a 4 session wellbeing project. Delivered by a qualified and experienced youth worker, these sessions include all resources and are engaging and interactive. They cover resilience, stress-busting, coping with change and much more. |
| RIMA | 1000 | Rochdale Indian Malayalee Association (RIMA) is planning to organise Onam 2026 Celebration on 5 September 2026 at Champness Hall, Rochdale. . For our community in Rochdale, it is not only a celebration but also a wider community programme which brings together children, young people, families, women and older people. |
