Member Organisation Amount Awarded Investment Projects
Deeplish Community Centre £28,995

Live Well Centre, Space and Offer: The “Children & Young People’s Wellbeing & Leadership Initiative,” named the “Engage, Empower and Change (E3 Youth Project),” is a community-based early intervention and prevention programme designed to improve the mental health, physical wellbeing, confidence, creativity, life skills and leadership capacity of children and young people aged 7–16 in Rochdale South neighbourhood.

The grant will be used to deliver a structured 30-week programme for children and young people aged 7–16 in Rochdale South. Delivery will take place at Deeplish Community Centre, a trusted and accessible hub well known to local families.

The programme will run every Saturday during term time, including occasional evenings, following a consistent model to provide stability and routine.

Awakening Minds £27,995 Live Well Space and Offer: With this grant, we will deliver a 24-week (fortnightly), trauma-informed programme. This project builds on our existing wellbeing work and responds directly to the need to move from general support to targeted, preventative work around suicide, which we have identified through ongoing engagement with local residents.
Andalucia Learning Centre £11,189

Live Well Space: Andalucia Learning Centre will open its doors as a living and breathing community hub, not just a space where activities happen, but a place where people feel they belong and can see their own potential.

The grant will enable us to deliver a consistent, community-led programme from our base, transforming our space into a fully functioning Live Well Community Hub.

The project will run Monday to Thursday, with a daily drop-in offer, alongside structured sessions. We will deliver this through a combination of a part-time Community Coordinators, sessional facilitators and volunteers.

Lamet Habayeb Association  £11,189

Live Well Space: With this funding, we will deliver a structured programme of weekly activities across four days (Monday to Thursday), providing 12 hours of support each week. The rent will be paid monthly rather than weekly. Our programme will offer consistent, accessible, and inclusive support for Arab women and families through a combination of social, creative, and support-based sessions.

Part of the funding will also go towards creating e-leaflets to promote the weekly coffee mornings and arts and crafts sessions, as well as printed leaflets to promote Lamet Habayeb more widely within the community. In addition, the funding will support two part-time staff roles.
