Quarter 1 | 2026-2027

Member Organisation Amount Awarded Investment Projects
The Bond Board £23,928

Live Well Offer: The grant will fund the expansion of our Peer Support Coordinator (PSC) role from 0.5 FTE to full time, volunteer expenses, training and development, recruitment and induction, monitoring and evaluation, and delivery related communication and support costs.

The grant will also be used to develop our Peer Support Volunteer Programme and attract an additional 10-12 new Peer Support Volunteers.

Rochdale Foodbank £10,944

Live Well Centre: This project is vital to strengthen and develop our wrap around provision.

The grant would cover the cost of our high experienced Project Co-ordinator, who is already in post for one day a week.  Her role  in this would be to:

  • Facilitate client discussions
  • Collect current profile information from debt and citizens advisors
  • Liaise with most suitable agencies to attend agreed morning sessions
  • Monitor effectiveness of the mornings and steer services accordingly
  • Continuously gain feedback from clients of next steps and needs
  • Engage with agencies for appropriate afternoon services aimed exclusively at single men
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the overall project

Grant expenditure would then include the cost of running Rochdale Foodbank premises for an extra afternoon per week and refreshments for those who attend morning or afternoon to encourage that warm, welcome space, relaxed approach which allows clients to relax and speak easier about the hardships they are encountering.

Rochdale Gateway Leisure £29,601

Live Well Space: Rochdale Gateway Leisure will deliver a welcoming Live Well Space for autistic and neurodivergent young people aged 14–25 who are currently underserved and at risk of isolation, poor mental health and long-term inequality. The project will provide a safe, inclusive and community-led environment where young people can build relationships, develop confidence and access support in ways that feel accessible and relevant to them.

The project will provide structured support in partnership with local schools, colleges and transition teams, while also engaging young people who are home-educated or not currently in formal education.

The core offer will include fortnightly peer-led social sessions, monthly weekend drop-in provision and parallel parent support.

Alongside this, we will embed life skills development and progression pathways. Young people will be supported to move from attending sessions into active roles within the space, including volunteering, peer mentoring and contributing to delivery and decision-making.
