Live Well Offer: Soul Sisters: Empowering People is seeking to expand and strengthen our trauma-informed domestic abuse support services in Middleton. While our office base is in Rochdale, we have been actively delivering support in Middleton since November 2021. We will deliver monthly peer support sessions initially, with the aim to increase frequency in response to demand. The project will provide:
|
| Rochdale AFC Community Trust | £19,735 | Live Well Space: The grant will fund a 12‑month programme of place‑based community development at King George Playing Fields, centred around activating the refurbished pavilion as a Live Well Space. All activity will take place in and around the pavilion, the old bowling green and the Play Zone pitch, creating a cluster of connected spaces where people can gather, take part and lead. |
| The Lighthouse Project | £21,478 | Live Well Space: The grant will be used to pay a full-time Engagement and Support Worker for 12 months from commencement of the grant. The Engagement worker will be based in the Lighthouse Project centre and will connect with our visitors on a daily basis to offer support and assistance, they will also carry our research and networking to help us identify potential new organisations to connect with to enhance or services or to provide practical support. |
