Leche Trust - Performing Arts

Aims/priorities: The Leche Trust is a grant-making charity founded and endowed by the late Angus Acworth CBE in 1950. It was constituted as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in 2024.

This funding is for projects which meet the Trust's current priorities:

  • New Works in Performing Arts - the commissioning, development, production and/or performance of new works in music, theatre, dance and performance across all genres
  • Artists’ Professional Development -  to support artists’ professional development through programmes that address a clear need or gap in development. These programmes can be aimed at early or mid-career artists, but they need to reflect current context and practices.

To be eligible, lead applicants must be one of the following:

  • UK registered charities
  • Local authority run venues

You must have a turnover of less than £1.5 million per annum.

Grant amounts: Grants of up to £4,000 are available.
