ACES and Trauma training | This webinar focuses on recognising and responding to concerns about a child to safeguard and promote the welfare of the child. It will outline the core tasks in safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare and an understanding of the importance of maintaining focus on the child. (Please note, there is a £5 charge for this training) |

Free e-learning - Social, emotional, and mental health needs of children, speech, and communication needs https://www.rcsltcpd.org.uk/courses/mind-your-words-children-and-young-peoples-mental-health/ | The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists have developed some free, on-line training to improve understanding of children and young people who have both mental health needs (or social, emotional, and mental health needs – SEMH) and speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN). |
Free Centre of Expertise: CSA eLearning course | The Centre of Excellence are providing a free e-learning module focusing on identifying and responding to intrafamilial child sexual abuse. The CSA Centre’s first eLearning course, Identifying and responding to intrafamilial child sexual abuse, takes just 90 minutes to complete, is entirely free and consists of three engaging modules, with interactive tasks, video explainers and a final assessment. It’s designed for professionals at all stages of their career; for those new to safeguarding, or as a helpful refresher. |
