MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POST:
As Senior Youth Lead you will deliver and manage a range of youth programmes across Greater Manchester, including coaching and mentoring, social action, open access youth work and outdoor learning.
You will manage a caseload of young people, create engaging activities and interventions and work with partners to provide coordinated support that helps young people overcome barriers and achieve positive outcomes.
You will ensure yours and your teams projects are delivered to a high standard, effectively managing budgets, resources, and performance, while collecting and analysing impact data to demonstrate impact and inform future delivery.
Alongside programme delivery, you will help grow and sustain our youth work offer by building partnerships, identifying new opportunities, contributing to funding proposals and sharing learning.
You will also provide line management and support to Youth Leads and Project Assistants, helping to foster a positive, high-performing team culture.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We're looking for an experienced and passionate youth work professional who is committed to helping young people overcome barriers, develop their potential and achieve positive outcomes. You will have experience working with young people facing marginalisation or complex challenges, alongside a proven track record of managing projects, budgets, performance and outcomes.

You will have a strong understanding of the social and economic challenges affecting diverse communities and the issues facing young people today.
You will be an excellent communicator, able to engage a wide range of audiences through a variety of approaches, including digital channels. Organised and proactive, you will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, using project management systems and contributing to a positive organisational culture rooted in strong values.
