  • Oversee funded projects, including targets, outcomes, budgets and reporting.
  • Monitor service performance, quality and impact.
  • Support funding applications, tenders and new project development.
  • Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, risk management and data protection requirements are met.
  • Develop positive relationships with funders, commissioners, partners and community organisations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and service development.
  • Support financial and resource management.
  • Contribute to Senior Management Team discussions and organisational planning.

About You

You will have significant experience of managing community, health, wellbeing, voluntary-sector or public-sector services, together with strong leadership and project-management skills.

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of managing and developing staff.
  • Experience of managing multiple projects or services.

  • Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, risk management and data protection.
  • Experience of partnership and stakeholder working.
  • A commitment to equality, inclusion and improving outcomes for local communities.
  • An appropriate Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to undertake one where required.

Experience of working within a charity, Healthy Living Centre, community organisation or with NHS/local-authority commissioners would be advantageous.
