The Role and Department:
We have an opportunity for a Crisis Services Senior Manager to join the organisation on a permanent basis. Reporting to a Director, the Crisis Services Senior Manager will lead a diverse portfolio of crisis services that support children, young people, adults and families. This is a strategic and operational leadership role with responsibility for a range of locality-based and Greater Manchester-wide services delivered through both direct provision and partnership arrangements.
The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of crisis response and support services, including open-access crisis provision, crisis helpline and call handling services. Working across a complex portfolio, you will ensure services are safe, responsive and person-centred, providing timely and effective support to people experiencing mental health crisis and emotional distress.
You will provide leadership across services operating within our local communities as well as Greater Manchester-wide contracts, including services delivered through subcontracted and partnership models. The role requires a collaborative and influential leader who can work effectively with commissioners, NHS partners, local authorities, voluntary sector organisations and people with lived experience to drive quality, innovation and positive outcomes.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and develop a growing portfolio of crisis services, ensuring high-quality support is available to individuals and communities across Greater Manchester whenever and wherever it is needed.
What you will bring to TOGS Mind:
To be considered for this role, we are looking for an experienced and values-driven leader with a proven ability to manage complex services and inspire high-performing teams. You'll bring strong operational and strategic leadership skills, alongside the ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries and build effective relationships with commissioners, partners and stakeholders.
You will have experience of leading services within mental health, health, social care or the voluntary sector, with a strong understanding of access, referral and crisis support pathways. Comfortable managing multiple priorities across diverse service models, you will be skilled in driving quality, performance and continuous improvement while maintaining a relentless focus on delivering positive outcomes for the people we support.
Most importantly, you will share our commitment to providing accessible, compassionate and person-centered support, ensuring that everyone who reaches out to our services receives a timely, responsive and high-quality experience.
