Job: Healthy Relationships Educator / Coordinator

Do you have experience of delivering education programmes in primary schools? We are recruiting two Healthy Relationships Educators to deliver educational packages in schools. The educator/coordinator post will include delivery and oversight of the Healthy Relationships programme which will include reporting. The educator role will be direct delivery in schools with a small amount of admin tasks.

Role 1:           Healthy Relationships Educator / Coordinator

                      12 hours per week (term time only)

                      £15.95 per hour

Role 2:          Healthy Relationships Educator

                     12 hours per week (term time only)

                     £14.90 per hour

Purpose of the role: 

The main area of work will involve the promotion and delivery of our specialist Healthy Relationships Programme. Through the delivery of our educational packages, this post will focus primarily on early intervention and prevention of domestic abuse by working directly with children in a classroom setting.

Key skills: 

• Relevant teaching assistant/teaching qualification.
• An ability to develop and implement lesson plans, initial / end assessments, resources and evaluations.
• Knowledge of domestic abuse and its effects on adults, families, children and young people.
• A basic knowledge of the PSHE National Curriculum.
• An understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, Early Help, Adults at Risk and a commitment to follow procedure.
