We have an opportunity for two Children, Young People and Families Administration Assistants to join our CYPF (Children, Young People and Families) Directorate on a permanent basis, reporting to CYPF Service Managers.
The roles involve providing reception cover across our busy Tameside and Oldham hubs, welcoming young people and families, handling enquiries and calls for all services across the organisation, responding to risk-related concerns with management support, and helping to maintain a safe, calm and welcoming environment. You will work in a trauma-informed way, treating everyone with respect, understanding and confidentiality.
As a key member of the team, you will also undertake a range of administrative duties, including managing service inboxes, processing referrals, booking appointments, maintaining client records, auditing, preparing resources, and providing general administrative support across the services.
What you will bring to TOGS Mind:
To be considered for this role, we are looking for people who will thrive being the first point of contact for young people, families and professionals contacting the organisation. You will bring an ability to provide a warm, empathic, trauma-informed welcome and competencies in managing enquiries, appointments, referrals and service inboxes.
Due to the breadth of administrative tasks, you will bring skills and competencies in utilising the Microsoft office package or other software. You will be skilled in prioritising requests, maintaining professional boundaries and communicating effectively. You will bring a passion for helping people and skills to enable you to respond to individuals who present in high distress, helping them to feel safe, heard and supported.
