Inclusion & Wellbeing Partnership Fund – Micro Grants

Aims/priorities: GM=EqAl, as part of the Live Well Community Fund wants to put trust and decision-making where they belong: in communities. These micro grants are part of our wider pilot, supporting people across Greater Manchester to connect, create and care for one another.

This fund is designed for geographically dispersed and intersectional groups, especially those whose voices are often missed by locality-based funding. These are communities whose characteristics may include one or more of the following:

  • Not concentrated in any particular area or spread across multiple boroughs
  • Not always visible at a local level, but a significant population across Greater Manchester
  • May have specific needs or experiences, requiring tailored approaches to engagement, service design, and representation

Who can apply? We welcome applications from:

  • Based in Greater Manchester
  • A registered charity, social enterprise, co-op, or unincorporated voluntary/community organisation with an appropriate constitution
  • Small with a turnover under £100,000 in the last financial year
  • Groups led by people with lived experience of inequality, including racially marginalised, LGBTQ+, disabled, neurodivergent, migrant, and faith communities.
  • Project proposals working across wellbeing, health and bringing communities together. See below for some examples of the type of activities we can fund.
  • Willing to share their story with the wider GM=EqAL and Live Well network, with our support (for example via social media, events, or a free publication)

Applicants should be able to deliver activities between December 2025 and March 2026 that bring people together to connect, create, and improve wellbeing.

Grant amount: Micro-grants offer up to £1,000 for small-scale, community-led activities that bring people together and support wellbeing.

Application process: Applicants can apply online, by phone, video, or voice note. Full details and the application form are available at the links below.
