Goldsmiths’ Foundation – Open Grants Programme

Aims/priorities: The funding is intended for projects and organisations operating in the UK and that are focused on skills and training in particular in the creative industries. 

This round aims to:

  • Strengthen technical and vocational skills infrastructure in underserved craft communities.
  • Champion the contribution that skilled makers, designers and craftspeople make to more just and equitable communities.
  • Grow the systems and networks that allow craft and vocational practice to thrive equitably.

This round is focused on organisations working primarily in craft. 

Who can apply? Applications will be accepted from:

  • UK registered charities
  • Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs)
  • Excepted and exempt charities.

Applicants must have at least one year’s worth of annual accounts as a registered charity and submit one of the following: 

  • Their annual accounts, independently audited or examined.
  • A copy of their Charity Commission annual return.

Grant amount: A total of £600,000 is available.

Grants of between £30,000 and £50,000 are available.

Operating/core cost grants and project activity grants are available.

The size of the grant will be determined by the size of the applicant organisation.
