Do you manage or help to run a community centre in Oldham
The Growing Hubs Network brings together groups across Oldham who manage growing spaces for food production, community use, and as vital green spaces for wellbeing and connection.
The Oldham Men’s Network brings together organisations in Oldham to focus on support for men and boys. It provides opportunities to share information about services and what is on offer, explore opportunities to work together as well as addressing the challenges being faced by men and boys and those working with them.
Aims of the session
•To develop an awareness of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
•To have a clear idea of what to do if you are worried a child is in danger of suffering serious and significant harm
•To give staff and volunteers the opportunity of sharing ideas of best practice for safeguarding children
