Do you manage or help to run a community centre in Oldham
Join us for our Oldham West (Chadderton and Werneth) Communities In Charge event where we will talk about priorities for the place you care about and develop your ideas for how to fund the best projects in Oldham West.
£50,000 will be invested in Oldham South, and we want you to help decide how it will be spent. Join us at our Design Jam where residents and people who care about Oldham South can help shape how funding is used to improve health, wellbeing and local connection.
Aims of the session
•To develop an awareness of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
•To have a clear idea of what to do if you are worried a child is in danger of suffering serious and significant harm
•To give staff and volunteers the opportunity of sharing ideas of best practice for safeguarding children

Please note also that you can only book on this training on behalf of a VCFSE organisation working in Oldham, Rochdale or Tameside or be an active volunteer in these localities. Get in touch if you'd like to find out more about volunteering, or becoming a member of Action Together.
