Aims/priorities: Enterprise Nation is running this competition and awarding the grant money. The programme is provided in partnership with NatWest. The Enterprise Nation Fund provides one aspiring young entrepreneur with a grant and mentorship to support the launch of a new business. The programme is delivered by Enterprise Nation and NatWest and is intended to help the successful applicant develop their business and get it off the ground.
Who can apply: The fund is open to individuals who:
- Are aged between 18 and 24.
- Are based in the UK.
- Can provide evidence that they have started working on a business.
- Are willing to provide evidence of how the grant has been spent on their business idea.
Grant amount: One successful applicant will receive:
- A £1,500 grant to support the start-up of their business.
- Monthly mentoring sessions for 12 months with an experienced entrepreneur.
- Access to a network of other small business owners.
Enterprise Nation will introduce the successful applicant to their mentor. The frequency and format of mentoring sessions, including whether they are held face to face or remotely, will be agreed between the applicant and mentor.
