Dr Kershaw's Hospice are very excited to announce that they will very shortly be opening a new retail location, selling furniture to raise much-needed funds for the Hospice. The soon to be launched ‘Furniture Hub’ will not only be a new store but a hub of activity, with office space, communal areas and storage facilities.
They are recruiting:
PAT Testers – Are you practically minded and want to support with ensuring our electrical donations are safe to sell? We provide full training and guidance. No formal qualifications are required.
Sorters – Do you prefer a more behind the scenes role? Could you help sift through the donations we receive whilst having a catch up with your fellow volunteers?
Showroom Assistant – Are you a people person and happy to help rearrange the store, keeping it stocked with furniture? Fancy trying your hand on the till?
Driver’s Mates – Can you take on this physically demanding role, collecting and delivering furniture to members of the public? Driver’s mates don’t need to be able to drive, but extra drivers are always welcome!
